Pricing FAQ
Common questions before you choose a plan.
These are the points that most often determine whether someone stays on Free or moves to Pro for heavier document work.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can start on the free plan without entering a credit card and use the editor, collaboration, and lighter AI features before upgrading.
What changes when I upgrade to Pro?
Pro is designed for regular AI-assisted writing. It adds higher AI usage limits, advanced spellcheck, web research, and export features for people who work in documents every day.
Can I change or cancel my plan later?
Yes. Plan changes, renewals, and cancellations are handled through the billing portal so you can update your subscription when your usage changes.
Does every plan include collaboration?
Yes. The core editor and collaboration workflow are available on every plan, so you can share drafts, comment, and revise together before deciding whether you need heavier AI usage.
What changes when I need more AI usage?
Pro gives you more room for drafting, rewriting, research, and review. If AI is part of your regular workflow, Pro is built for that heavier usage.
Can I export my documents?
Yes. Export support is included on the paid plan so you can move finished work into formats like DOCX and PDF when you need to share or publish it elsewhere.
Do documents other people share with me count toward my limit?
No. On Free, only documents you create count toward your limit. You can open and collaborate on unlimited documents that others share with you.
